How does it work?

Individual semi-permanent synthetic silk or mink lashes (which resemble natural lashes) are adhered to each individual natural lash, about 1-2 mm from the base of natural lashes. The synthetic eyelashes never contact the eyelid, in order to create a bold yet natural look. Eyelash extensions provide the appearance of darker, more voluptuous lash-lines and replace the need for mascara. 

Classic Lashes

In this style, one individual extension lash is adhered to an individual natural lash also known as a one-on-one lash extension. There are different lengths, thickness, and curls available to create different shapes and styles (taking into consideration the natural lash type and the client’s personal preference). The diameter of classic lash extensions is between 0.15 mm and 0.25 mm. This style is suitable for those who have got a lot of natural lashes and wants to add length, curl, darker defined line of lashes. This set is great for a subtle, everyday look.

Volume Lashes

This style involves adhering a fan of synthetic lashes to each individual natural lash. 2 x fine lashes together are called 2D, 3 x lashes together; 3D, 4 x lashes together; 4D and so on.

In this style, 2-6 extensions can be applied to one natural lash. They are also known as Russian volume. Volume lash extensions add depth and texture by filling the gaps and making eyelashes more full and fluffy.

These lashes are more fine and light weight than the lashes used for classic lash extension. For example, the diameter of volume lashes is between 0.07 mm and 0.10 mm. This style is suitable to someone who have short and sparse lashes and wants natural and fluffy look.

Mega Volume Lashes

This style also involves adhering a fan of synthetic lashes to each individual natural lash. 2 x fine lashes together are called 2D, 3 x lashes together; 3D, 4 x lashes together; 4D and so on.

In this style, 8-15 extensions can be applied to one natural lash. This creates maximum fullness and a bold, dramatic look. The diameter of these extensions occurs between 0.03 mm and 0.05 mm.

Hybrid Lashes

In this style, both classic and volume lashes are combined to create a natural yet fuller look. This style allows you to achieve a fuller but still natural look.

How long does it last?

The effects of lash extensions depend on many factors, including the lash shed cycle. The lash shed cycle refers to our normal rate of eyelash loss. Normally, lash hairs shed at an average rate of 20%-30% every 2-3 weeks. Hence, lash extensions will fall out with the natural lash. The longevity of your lash extension is also influenced by skin/ hair type, routine (i.e. skincare/ makeup routine), humidity, sleeping position, amount of eye rubbing, etc. 

In general, eyelash extensions last anywhere from 2-4 weeks*

To maintain fullness, touch up are recommended at 2-3 weeks*.

After Care

1. Do not get lashes wet within 24 hours after the treatment (avoid washing face, steamy shower, sauna, intensive exercise)
2. Do not touch the lashes for atleast 3 hours after the treatment.
3. Brush your lashes a couple of times in a day
4. Avoid oil-based makeup remover and moisturisers on your lashes. Oil will lose the bonding of glue.
5. To clean any makeup around your lashes, use a wipe, gently. Avoid any fabrics as the lash extensions could catch or pull on fibres and fall out.
6. Wash and clean your lashes every day with lash cleanser (as recommended by your technician) to remove particles and oil from the eyes.
7. Avoid pulling, rubbing or playing with the lashes.
8. Avoid sleeping on your face (satin pillowcase can be used as it is soft and silky)
9. Avoid wearing mascara.

Before Care

1. Arrive with a fresh, clean face – without makeup or mascara on your lashes.
2. If you have had lash lift done before, you cannot have a lash extension until 7-8 weeks (the lashes must have fully grown out prior to the extension).
3. Arriving with washed hair or after shower can be better idea as you will not be able to wet the lashes for initial 24 hrs after the application.
4. If you wear contacts and have dry, sensitive eyes; we recommend you coming in without them in (if that is safe for you!)
