After care
First 7 Days:
1. No after-pain: Slight tenderness around the treated area is normal.
2. Hygiene: Never touch the treated area with unwashed hands to prevent bacterial infections.
3. Aftercare application: Apply aftercare cream 1-2 times daily, wiping off the old balm before reapplying. Clients with oily skin may apply it less frequently.
4. Avoid excessive moisture: Keep the brows as dry as possible to prevent pigment loss.
5. Shower care: Avoid steamy showers for 7 days, and do not cover the brows with wraps or other materials.
6. Pillowcase: Change your pillowcase regularly to minimize contact with dust and bacteria.
7. Exercise caution: Avoid activities that cause sweating, as sweat can dilute the pigment and increase the risk of infection.
8. Avoid water exposure: Refrain from swimming, using spas, saunas, or taking excessively hot showers.
9. No picking: Do not pick or scratch any flaking skin to prevent removing chunks of pigment.
10. Itch relief: If the area becomes itchy, gently tap it; avoid scratching to maintain pigment integrity.
11. No makeup near brows: Avoid applying makeup near the brows to reduce the risk of bacterial infections.
12. Avoid other products: Keep creams, cleansers, or oils away from the treated area to prevent pigment removal or tone alteration.
13. Sun avoidance: Stay out of direct sunlight during the healing process.
14. Avoid Botox or microdermabrasion for 2 weeks, chemical treatments or laser for 4 weeks, and lip filler for 2 months to prevent pigment loss.
Long-Term Care:
1. Sun protection: Apply sunblock daily to prevent fading and color changes over time.
2. Product caution: Avoid using Glycolic Acid or peels near the brows. Continuous use of active ingredients like Vitamins or AHAs in moisturizers and cleansers can lighten or fade the tattoo color.
